Our digestive systems deeply impact our experience of life. I see that firsthand through my work in gastroenterology and obesity medicine. These worlds often cross. That is because by maintaining a healthy body weight, patients can improve or prevent many liver and gastrointestinal diseases. In both fields, I help patients feel better. I achieve that by: Caring for liver, pancreas, esophagus, stomach, and small and large bowel conditions Crafting care plans involving nutrition, physical activity, and medications when needed Whether seeing patients for an endoscopy or in the office, their health and happiness come first.
